Library Policies

Staff:
1. Checking out books, movies, and other materials

  • All materials must be checked out on the automated circulationsystem. Please do not remove items from the library without having them checked out.


2. Terms of the Loan for faculty

  • Staff may check out up to thirty items at a time for up to thirty days.
  • Popular items must be returned after one week of circulation. (Popular items to be determined by how often the material is requested)
  • In order to fulfill other circulation needs, staff members areasked to return materials as promptly as possible whenfinished.

 

3. Overdue or damaged materials

  • Staff may be required to pay for missing materials if they consistently lose materials or have damaged items or have checked them out for personal use.
  • If an item appears to have been taken by a student, staff will not be responsible for the cost.
  • If a teacher wants to check out a bulk of materials, they need to come with a bucket or some item to transport materials. The library will not provide these items.
